Retatrutide is an experimental injectable created by American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly. The treatment targets three intestinal hormones – glucagon-like peptide-1, glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide and glucagon. Early trials suggest it could assist individuals lose up to 25% of their total weight. Referred to as the “triple G”, the drug is being hailed digitally as the next Ozempic.
